"Sally" has a story. Sad to begin with, very happy at the end. We sold her as a pup to a couple who seemed to be able to deal with a dobermann. Unfortunately it was a mistake. Sal came back to us when she was eleven months old, not only mistreated, but if you picked up a hose or broom she was at the end of our yard over on her back. It was so sad, but her spirit wasn't broken. We treated her exactly the same as the other dobes we had at the time. We exercised her every day for two hours with the others. We ignored her bad reactions and enforced and encouraged positive reactions. Lucky for Sal she responded and within six months she was almost back to normal. Then we decided to show her with the others and thanks to the handling of Michelle Roberts Sally became a Champion.

Munro is a very alive, energetic, outgoing and loving girl. She just brightens our day.
Her short lived but successful show career was cut short with her coat becoming thin. A normal condition for fawn and blue dobes. The hair becomes quite thin along the flanks. She spends her day running and playing with her mate, Robba. They are inseparable.
"Jay" is quite a sharp girl. An excellent guard for the property but loving and outgoing to the family. Just what you need in a dobermann. Her favourite boy was a fawn named "Kallan". They would preen each other like a couple of birds. They were really family. After "Kal" passed away "Jay" just wanted to be alone. She would play and talk to the others through the fence but didn't want to run with any one.
We have learned quite a bit from Jay. She has a few of her own ideas on bringing up puppies. Her first litter was 9. She had it all sorted within hours of whelping. She had the litter separated in two groups. She would get up and feed and clean one group and when they were settled she would get up and do the same with the other group. We were very proud of her and had never seen that before. When she left the litter to go outside she would place newspaper over the top of them and off she would go outside feeling confident her litter was hidden from predators.
Modadobe Pantz on Fire Sire: Canadian Ch Sharinways I'll Follow The Sun (Import Canada) Dam: 2007 National BIS and Grand Ch Modadobe Testa Rossa
Dax is a very lovely girl. Bright, alive and vivacious. We just love her to bits. Always happy, with a smile on her face.
Valkyrian Formula One Sire: Ch Tanunda Nite Ranger CD Dam: Valkyrian Lightning Mist
Jimmy was sold as a puppy and when her owners moved to New Zealand she came back to live with us. She should have been shown and we feel would have gained her title but something had happened to her leg and it spoiled her overall movement. She was a beautiful girl and an excellent guard and protector with the loudest warning growl I have ever heard.
She was mated to Slugger (Aust Ch Fedelta Kiss My Art WAC) and produced three puppies. Two boys and a girl. We kept the black boy and called him Adam (Valkyrian Abracadabra).
Valkyrian Winter Wine Sire: Champion Harpford Hi Sailor Dam: Atunga Luana Joan

"Alf" arrived in early June 2007. He bounced out of his crate at the airport and has been bouncing ever since. He is a very outgoing boy. He loves everything, people, dogs, toys, digging – everything. He is being shown and handled to perfection by Ashley. Thanks Ash. We really appreciate your expertise.
"Harley" is the happiest dobe. Always wagging his body and wanting to please. He shares his life with "Bobby" and they play, dig, romp, howl and bark together all day.
He has had a limited show career with numerous Best Class in Shows, several Reserve Challenges and Runner-up BOB. He is usually handled by Carrie Keily who does an excellent job with him. A big thank you to Carrie.
Harley is not available at stud.

Chewie was a lovely natured boy. A big dog of 28 in tall and weighed in at 45 kgs.
He was forever hurting himself, the odd cut in the pad, the bruised shoulder or pulled muscle. In fact every time he was entered for a show he had something the matter with him that he couldn't show. All only minor injuries that would last a day or so but always on show day. We struggled for two years to title him and he gained one challenge of 17 points in his very first show, he was three, but the rest was injury prone.
Valkyrian Shaft Sire: Aust Ch Fedelta Kiss My Art (Slugger) Dam: Hinerua My First Lady (Dolly)
Shaft was seldom shown. He amassed numerous In Show Awards and Challenges.
A very amiable boy with loads of personality. He liked the girls and was ever the gentleman. A big dog of 45 kgs and height of 27.5 inches. Unfortunately he suffered the dreaded "Bloat" and passed away far too soon.

"Stud" was a lovely natured dog. With people he was the best you could imagine. Not quite as friendly with grown males. He was titled with a BIG and RUIS on New Year's Eve 1992. John Cooper was his handler and they made a great team.
He was born in a litter of five. A caesarian birth that nearly lost all five pups. It was a Saturday morning, busy surgery and around lunchtime we operated. All pups needed resuscitation and thank heavens we had enough people. All pups survived, two were shown. "Stud" and his sister "Soda". Both titled and both BIS winners. This was my first Ceasarian birth and I'll never forget it.
Valkyrian Noah Sire: Seigen Bad Boy Dam: Aust Champion Valkyrian Blind Passion
Noah was a fantastic people dog. We loved him to bits. He was always ready to do things with us. Play ball, run, anything you wanted he was for it. We miss him terribly.
